This love letter, written by a mother-vampire to her human-living child, is bloody fun. I haven't read a vampire book in a lifetime, but I would say this is more Lestat than Count Dracula. Written with dark humor and with an uncomfortably deep understanding of the in-dead, I actually believe this might, in fact, be an autobiography. If I ever go to a book-signing by the author, I will bring a wooden stake. Enjoy!Product details

A fun read! Very funny!

I love the way this book is written. Lots of fun.
This book was very interesting. I've never read anything like this before. I couldn't even tell you what genre this belongs in or what target audience the author is intending to market this to, but I will tell you that anybody who likes vampires, quirky humor, and who loves being immersed in stories as much as possible will enjoy this unique read. The author seems to have a strength with authenticity. It'll be like you're actually reading a real letter of a vampire and a vampire's daughter. What would it actually be like? That's what this stories's all about. To top it off, it's told humorously. And who doesn't like humor? I thoroughly enjoyed this, and if you're looking for something different, you will too.
I didn't expect to laugh so much at a vampire story. What an adventure!
I'm very pleased to have bought this book. Since the first chapter the story was very interesting and a little after that it turns into a completely grapping story. Very funny, though, but conserving the serios mo,ents when needed. Even thogh english is not my forst laguage, I found it very easy to read, as a fast novel, completely worth it. Thanks peter for the book. Was my pleasure to read it.
